Why Is Our Program Paid?
A Legitimate Question
Many wonder why our courses require payment. This is a valid question, and rather than answering each inquiry individually, we have written this article to explain our position and operational model clearly.
A Model That Ensures Seriousness
Learning Islamic sciences and the Arabic language requires a structured and rigorous framework. A paid model guarantees this discipline: engaged instructors, respected schedules, and an optimized organization for high-quality teaching. Unfortunately, free initiatives often face difficulties due to a lack of commitment and consistent follow-up.
When a system is free, it often relies on the goodwill of contributors, making it harder to ensure full commitment and organization. Conversely, when a student pays for a course, a mutual responsibility is established: the student commits to regular attendance, and we commit to providing quality education.
Donations as a Funding Model: An Unstable Approach
Some may suggest that the center could be funded through donations. While this approach has been tested in various initiatives, it has proven difficult to sustain long-term. The primary challenge lies in financial instability: one month, funding may be sufficient, while the next, it may not. This inconsistency makes it significantly harder to organize and sustain educational activities.
Without stable funding, teachers and staff must seek additional sources of income, reducing the time they can dedicate to teaching and lesson preparation. Although ideal in theory, this model is very difficult to maintain over time.
A Paid Model: Benefits for All
This is why we have opted for a paid model, which offers several key advantages:
- Increased Student Commitment – Paying for courses encourages students to be more dedicated and less likely to drop out.
- Stability for Teachers – Instructors can focus entirely on teaching without needing additional jobs to support themselves.
- Optimized Time for Educators and Experts – When a professor, scholar, or specialist receives proper compensation, they can fully dedicate their time and expertise to teaching. Otherwise, they would need to work in unrelated fields to sustain themselves, reducing their engagement in education. Stable funding ensures that instructors remain devoted to knowledge transmission.
- Reinvestment in the Center – A portion of the funds is used to enhance teaching quality, create digital content, support translations, and fund other initiatives that promote knowledge dissemination.
Transparent Management
Only those in need receive salaries from the center. Any surplus is entirely reinvested in the center’s development to maintain continuity and high-quality education. Our goal is to provide a sustainable and effective educational offering, allowing both instructors and students to thrive in a well-structured environment.
Conclusion
Choosing a paid model is based on practical experience and an understanding of real-world challenges. It guarantees high teaching standards, ensures financial stability for instructors, and secures the long-term sustainability of the project. We hope these explanations help clarify our approach and demonstrate how it serves everyone’s best interests.
